-Blog Tour Stop, Review & Giveaway- Manic by J.A.Huss

Welcome to my stop on the Manic blog tour!!
I'll be sharing my thoughts on this steamy and really surprise-filled sequel to Tragic :D
Enjoy!!
Oh, and there's a giveaway at the end of the post so be sure not to miss it ;)
And also, be sure to stop by the other stops (today's only day 2 on the tour) for more chances to get to know all about this amazing book!

Let's read a bit about the book first ;)
-It might be a bit spoilery if you haven't read Tragic-

TRAGIC is over and Rook is ready for the future—Spencer Shrike and the STURGIS contract!

It’s three months of body art modeling! That means three months of Spencer Shrike’s paintbrush all over her body, three months in front of Antoine’s camera, and three months of twenty-four hour filming for Spencer’s Biker Channel reality show.

Wait a minute…what reality show? Maybe she should’ve read that STURGIS contract a little closer? ;)

Sure, Rook’s bank account is almost overflowing, but Ronin is angry, Clare is trying to escape rehab, Antoine is a worried mess, and Elise is just trying to hold everyone together. Her new family is about to fall apart before she even gets the chance to enjoy them.

Add in a mysterious man from her past, a road trip to the famous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and a final show in front of the entire world where all her good are on display, and you’ve Manic—a new adult contemporary romance that will definitely make your summer sizzle!

My Thoughts?

Goodreads Shortie:
TRAGIC is over and Rook is ready for the future—Spencer Shrike and the STURGIS contract!
Out of all the things. I can only say,
1. WOW.
2. Read BEFORE you sign.
3.Holly Molly's socks!! Look at that COVER X_X

I wish I wouldn't have forgotten about me having to read this book. I only remembered last week and something kind of awful happened last week so I couldn't enjoy this book as much as I KNOW I would have if things hadn't been so awful.

But hey, life happens so my review won't do the book justice at all but I get to tease you and hopefully that'll be enough for you guys to want to pick this series up ;)

But as I was saying, Rook!!! You've got to be kidding me!! Who goes ahead and signs a contract and doesn't make sure to read all of it so then you won't get these surprises of like, say... -_- You having accepted all sorts of cameras to be mounted on your apartment's walls and stuff???

Well that along with motorcycles plus bod painting should suffice for you to go on an amazing ride with Rook but this time it isn't just Ronin that'll ben the picture and seriously... I so agree... with Rook in regards of Ford's name hehehe.

These people have no middle. It’s either sweet or trashy.

Anyway,

I feel for both, her and Ronin.
I feel for all the things she should have done but didn't and
I hate how not everything is as it seems in Rook's world.

As always, I was left wanting more but worry not. The THIRD book will come out this year and I really hope it somewhat satisfy the thirst that I've grown accustomed to when it has to do with this author and her characters :D

Sexy and filled with bends and twist you won't see coming until they're right there in front of you.
An amazing sequel to Tragic.

And I'm so going to be rereading this book next month because, seriously it's not fair for me or the characters to have suffered because I was going through a rough time these past weeks...

I give this book,
5= Clouds In The Heavens READ IT!

About the author

J. A. Huss likes to write new adult books that make you think and keep you guessing. Her favorite genre to read is space opera, but since practically no one reads those books, she writes new adult science fiction, paranormal romance, contemporary romance, urban fantasy, and books about Junco (who refuses to be saddled with a label).

She has an undergraduate degree in horses, (yes, really–Thank you, Colorado State University) and a master’s degree in forensic toxicology from the University of Florida. She used to have a job driving around Colorado doing pretty much nothing but shooting the breeze with farmers, but now she just writes, runs the New Adult Addiction and Clean Teen Reads Book Blogs, and runs an online science classroom for homeschoolers.
